About

NVivo Collaboration Cloud is an NVivo add-in to facilitate teamwork. It allows users to upload projects to the cloud to share. Collaborators download the projects, work on them, upload their modified copies, then these can be downloaded and merged into the original version.

It is a subscription service that can be purchased in addition to an NVivo license. An internet connection is required to upload and download project files, but projects can be worked on offline.

NVivo Collaboration can be used with NVivo (Release 1) on Windows or Mac, but not in combination.

If you are the administrator of an organization account, please see the ELA administrator help for information on inviting users to NVivo Collaboration Cloud.

Requirements

  • NVivo Requirements – NVivo 13 (2020, R1) or NVivo 14

  • Operating System Requirements – Mac OR Windows devices.

Note: MacOS Ventura and Sonoma not currently supported.

Using different accounts for NVivo and the cloud modules

Users must log in with their myLumivero credentials to use Collaboration Cloud, Transcription or NVivo - Integration (see myLumivero in the NVivo user online Help for more information).

It is possible for a user to have more than one customer account linked to their profile, in which case they must log in with the account that has a license for the product they want to use. For example, a researcher may have access to NVivo through a university enterprise account but have purchased Collaboration Cloud with their personal account. They must log into the university account in order to activate their installation of NVivo but log into their personal account when they want to use Collaboration Cloud.
